How Keylock works on iPhone 4

Password Protect / Keylock Your iPhone
1. To Keylock, press the Power button on the top of the device.
2. To Unlock, press the Power button on the top or the menu button and slide your finger


across Slide to Unlock to unlock.
1. Press the Home button.
2. Tap on the Settings icon.
3. Tap on the General option.
4. Tap on the Passcode Lock option.
5. If the Passcode is off you will be prompted to enter, and then re-enter a passcode. It will
then take you to the Passcode Lock options page. If a passcode is already set you will go
straight to the Passcode Lock options page detailing:

Tap Turn Passcode Off and enter the passcode to switch off.
Tap Change Passcode to change the current passcode, you will be prompted to enter the current passcode and then enter a new passcode and confirm the new passcode.
Tap Require Passcode to modify the amount of time the phone must be locked for before asking for the passcode.
Toggle  Show SMS Preview to enable the phone to display a preview of the SMS when
locked.
