Flash Storage Causes Smartphone to Perform Slow

Base on the recent study by researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology, they found that the flash storage used on smartphones normally cause its performance to slowdown.

A doctoral student at Colloege of Computing at Georgia Tech, Hyojun Kim, concluded that the flash storage is not keeping pace with the hardware and the solution is to use phase-change random access memory (PRAM) that can manage random data writing better.
