Surprisingly, LG officially announced the Optimus Vu after seeing the teaser video and some leaked photos couple of days ago. This Android running smartphone tablet was expected to be seen at the upcoming Mobile World Congress that will be held in Barcelona from the 27th of February till 1st of March.

LG promises that this device will provide better viewing of contents with its 5-inch IPS display at 4:3 aspect ratio which is a bit wider and (1.2 mm) thinner than its rival Samsung Galaxy Note. But if you have already tried holding a Samsung Galaxy Note and if you are not comfortable with it, this Optimus Vu by LG might be worse than that.

It also features an 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel on the front, a 32 GB storage. It also support HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, T-DMB and 2080 mAh Li-Ion battery.
