Manual network selection is a process of forcing the phone to reconnect to the mobile network manually. It is done by going to the network settings and manually search for available network operators. Please follow the steps below.
Note: When roaming, select a carrier that your service provider has agreements with.
- Press Menu
- Tap Settings
- Tap Wireless and Network
- Tap Mobile Network
- Tap Network Operators
- Tap Search Networks
- Tap any Network other than your own service provider (device will show "Your Sim Card does not allow a connection to this Network")
- Tap Ok
- Tap your own service provider's network after the list is refreshed.
- Press the Home Button
