1. Log in to the Facebook app.

3. Tap on Messages
4. Tap on New Message, the icon with pencil inside a square located on the top right corner.
5. Type in the name of the person where you want to send the message
6. Tap on the text input field at the bottom of the screen
7. Type in your text and tap on Send button.
