How To Turn On/Off The PIN Code on Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge

Find "Set up SIM card lock." on Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge

1. Do a downward finger swipe from the top of the screen.

2. Tap on the "Settings" icon.

3. Tap on "Lock screen and security."

4. Tap on "Other security settings."

5. Tap on "Set up SIM card lock."


Turning PIN code prompt on or off on Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge

1. Tap on the indicator next to the icon saying "Lock SIM card" to turn the functionality on or off.

2. Key in your PIN code then tap on OK. The default PIN is 0000.

3. Return to the home screen by simply tapping on the Home key.
