When you accidentally entered an incorrect PIN on your Samsung Galaxy S3, it will ask to enter the PUK code to unblock it. The PUK can normally be obtained from the original packing of the SIM card or by contacting your service provider. Once you have it handy, just follow the steps below to enter the PUK code on your Samsung Galaxy S3.

  1. Turn off your phone by pressing the button on the right side of your Samsung Galaxy S3.
  2. Select Power Off in the option that will pop up on your screen.
  3. Tap on OK.
  4. Turn on your phone by pressing the same button on the right side of your Samsung Galaxy S3.
  5. Once the phone is restarted, it should show a message that the SIM is blocked.
  6. Type in the PUK code.
  7. Enter the new four-digit PIN code you desire.
  8. Enter the new four-digit PIN code again to confirm.

Once the steps above are done, your Samsung Galaxy S3 should be again ready to use.
