To turn on the Apple iPhone 5, here is what you should do.

  1. Tap and hold on the rectangular (On/Off) button located on the top right hand side of your iPhone.
  2. Once your iPhone booted up, you will see a message saying "slide to unlock" or "slide to setup" if its your first time to turn it on.
  3. The next screen will ask you to type in your PIN if you have one setup.
