Unable to View Your iPhone 4 in iTunes?

1. Download the latest version of iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
2. Uninstall the iPhone Driver (Apple Mobile Device):
Windows XP - Use Add or Remove Programs from the Control Panel to uninstall
    Apple Mobile Device Support
Windows Vista - Use Programs and Features from the Control Panel to uninstall
    Apple Mobile Device Support
Mac OS X - Navigate to System then Library then Extensions then delete the
AppleMobileDevice.kext. You must authenticate to remove the file.
3. Install iTunes using the newly downloaded iTunes installation file (iTunes.exe)
4. Restart your computer and then connect the iPhone to your computer
NOTE: If your  iPhone does not appear in  iTunes it is most likely caused by missing or
damaged Drivers. The iPhone Drivers are included as part of the iTunes package, and as
such iTunes must be reinstalled to replace the Drivers
