Handset Reset (Restart)
1. Press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button and home button until the Apple logo
appears on the display.
Reset All Settings
Resets all settings on the iPhone, however does not affect the users content.
1. Press the Home button.
2. Tap on the Settings icon.
3. Tap on the General option.
4. Scroll down and tap on the Reset option.
5. Tap on the Reset All Settings option.
Erase All Content and Settings
Selecting this option from Reset Settings erases the user folder on the iPhone. Use this 8 of 17option to rule out any possibility of the issue being user or setting-related. Try this prior to restoring the iPhone.

2. Tap on the Settings icon.
3. Tap on the General option.
4. Scroll down and tap on the Reset option.
5. Tap on the Erase All Content and Settings option.
