Listed below are the simple steps to change the PIN code on your Galaxy A5. Remember though that you can only change your PIN code when the PIN code request option is activated on your Galaxy A5.
1. Make a downward sliding motion with your finger from the top of your Galaxy A5’s screen.
2. Select the “Settings” icon.
3. Select the option “Lock screen and security”.
4. Select the “Other security settings” option.
5. Select “Set up SIM card lock”.
6. Select the option “Change SIM card PIN”.
7. Type your PIN code in and select “OK”. The default PIN code for most SIM cards is 0000.
8. Type your new desired four-digit PIN code and press “OK”.
9. Re-type your new PIN code for verification and press “OK”.
10. Click the Home key button on your Samsung Galaxy A5 to return to your home screen.
