When you first got your Apple iPhone 5, one of the first things you should do is insert your nano-SIM card which is 30% smaller than the micro SIM that was used with the previous iPhone. To do that, just follow the steps below.
- Push the little hole located on the right side (facing the front screen of the phone) of your iPhone 5 using the pin that came with your iPhone 5 or any tools like paper clip that will fit that hole.
- While pushing the hole with the pin, you will see that the SIM tray will come out. When that happens you can pull the SIM tray out with your fingers.
- Put the SIM card on the tray where it would where the cut at the of the SIM should match with the angled corner of the SIM tray.
- Insert the SIM tray with the SIM card back into your the iPhone 5.
