You can also set up the network modes that your mobile phone will use, eg. GSM or 3G. Your data speed will be affected by your choice.

1. Look for "Network mode"
2. Swipe down the display from the top of your screen.

3. Select the ‘Settings’ icon.

4. Select the ‘Connections’ tab.

5. Select ‘More networks’.

6. Select ‘Mobile networks’.

7. Select ‘Network’ mode.

9. Select either GSM only, WCDMA only,  LTE/GSM/WCDMA (for auto connect) or GSM/WCDMA (for auto connect).

10. 4G (LTE) or 3G (UMTS) both enable higher data speeds than 2G (GSM).

11. If you have selected LTE/GSM/WCDMA [auto connect], your mobile phone searches automatically between the 3 network modes when you are within a 4G network range.

12. If you have selected GSM/WCDMA [auto connect], your mobile phone searches automatically between the 2 network modes when you are within a 3G network range.

13. If you have selected GSM only, high-speed data access will not be possible.

14. If you have selected WCDMA only, you can only connect your mobile phoneto 3G networks.

15. To return to the Home Screen

16. Tap on the Home key to be brought back to the home screen.
