The search for a network can be done automatically through your phone’s setting. You can also manually choose a network by completing the steps in the following instructions. Please note that when selecting a network manually, you will lose the network connection if you are out of its range.
1. Look for ‘Network operators’
2. Touch the top edge of your phone and swipe down until some options appear.
3. Select the ‘Settings’ icon.
4. Tap on the ‘Connections’ tab.
5. Tap on ‘More networks’.
6. Tap on ‘Mobile networks’.
7. Tap on ‘Network operators’.
8. Select option
9. The mobile phone searches for networks that are within range.
10. Choose either of two options:
11. To manually select a network, choose 2a.
12. For automatic network selection, choose 2b.
13. 2a – Manual Network Selection
14. Select the desired network.
14. You will be informed if you have access to the selected network.
16. 2b – Automatic Network Selection
17. Choose Select automatically.
18. Return to home screen
19. Tap on the Home key and you will be brought back to the home screen.
