These are the easy instructions on how to power your Samsung Galaxy A5 on or off. Keep in mind that before you turn on your mobile phone for the first time you should already have your SIM card and Memory Card installed.
1. To turn your Galaxy A5 on, press and hold the On/Off button towards the side of your mobile phone until your screen flashes with the Samsung logo.
2. Enter your PIN number if your phone asks for the PIN code, just key in your PIN code and tap on OK. Your default PIN code should be 0000.
3. To turn your Galaxy A5 off, press and hold the On/Off button until a menu pops up giving you the option to Power off the phone.
4. Select the option: Power off.
