Setting up your Samsung Galaxy A5 properly means that you have to install an active Google account to be able to use the Google services installed on your phone (Gmail, Youtube, Picasa, and Google Play), it is also required for you to be able to install new applications via the Google Play Store. Before updating your phone with a Google account you should have already setup your phone to connect to the internet.
1. Finding the "Google” icon by doing a downward finger slide from the top of your Samsung Galaxy A5’s screen to pull the menu down.
2. Select the “Settings” icon.
3. Select the option “Cloud and account.”
4. Select “Accounts.”
5. Select the option “Add account.”
6. Select the option “Google.”
7. Activate Google account
8. Don’t have a Google account yet? Select “Create a new account” and go through the simple instructions provided to create a new Google account.
9. Click the text input field to type your Google account username.
10. Select “NEXT”.
11. Click text input field again to type your Google account password.
12. Select “NEXT”.
13. Select “ACCEPT” and follow the prompts to select your desired settings for your Google account.
14. Return to your Galaxy A5’s home screen just by clicking the Home key button.
