If you don't like to use QWERTY keyboard for typing a message on your Samsung Galaxy S3, you can change that to the regular 3x4 keypad by following the steps below.
- When you are on the part where you can to type the message, you will see the settings icon at the lower left hand part of your keyboard. That is the gear icon next to 123/Sym button. Tap on the gear or settings icon and it should bring you to the keyboard settings.
- Select the Portrait keyboard types.
- Tap on the 3x4 keyboard.
- If you want to change it back, just follow the same steps and select QWERTY instead of 3x4 keyboard.
