When you are setting up your new Apple iPhone 5, there will be an option to restore from iCloud backup. This will be useful for people who are upgrading from older iPhone. Make sure that you are able to backup your old iPhone before doing the steps below.
- Choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" in the Set Up iPhone window
- Tap on Apple ID and type in your Apple ID
- Tap on Password and type in your password
- Tap on Next
- Tap on the upper right hand corner
- Tap on Agree at the bottom right
- Tap on Agree on the pop up screen
- Select the backup you want to restore
- Tap on Restore on the top right hand corner
Your Apple iPhone 5 will start downloading the files and will take few minutes depending on the speed of your connection.
